Shabbir (Sohel) Merchant has a vast technology experience spanning 10 years. He has worked on different technologies including C, C++, Java, Ruby, Lisp. He is staunch supporter of open source tools and technologies and thinks that it is future of the enterprise software. He has contributed to open source projects such as BioPerl and Modware. During his last 10 years he has worked in capacity of Developer, Technical Lead, Business Analyst and Project manager. He is founder of Pragmatic and brings with him strong Management and Technical experience. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Maryland, USA.
